Capira is a district of West Panama crossed by the Inter-American Highway, and its seat has the same name. It has thirteen corregimientos, a notable agricultural activity within the province and also industrial facilities, such as cement and water-bottling plants.
Properties with ducts tend to sit farther apart than in the city: a shop by the road, a plant, a school, a home with a central unit. Capira is about 79 km by road from the Climatiza office, in an approximate calculation. Because the equipment and the camera come all the way from the city, the visit is planned as a journey and coordinated in advance with the management, and nearby places are put in one route.
Data point: A modeling study by Waring and Siegel (2008) estimated that filters in commercial systems collect a median of 130 g/m² per month, compared with 2.97 in residential ones. It is an estimate, which is why the actual case is inspected.
