Alcalde Díaz, north of the city, is a corregimiento of Panamá District created in July 2009 from land of Las Cumbres. It borders Las Cumbres, Caimitillo, Ernesto Córdoba Campos and Tocumen. The settlement was founded in 1948 and is named after a former mayor of Panamá District.
With a settlement founded in 1948 and a corregimiento created in 2009, homes from very different periods are to be expected, and with them air conditioning of different ages. Travel adds to this: when several nearby houses are involved, a single route is organized. The area is about 16 km by road from the Climatiza office, in an approximate calculation.
Data point: In minisplit-type units in homes in Japan, high-pressure washing reduced the internal fungal load by more than 99%, and a year later it had returned to the previous level (Shiraishi et al., 2023 and 2026). It is a different kind of equipment and is cited as context.
