Short answer
Yes. Limpieza de Ductería, a technical service of Climatiza, provides the service in homes, shops, medical offices and schools in Villa Lucre, about 5 km by road from its office. The hours and access points are agreed with the occupant and the owner.
Villa Lucre is the seat of the José Domingo Espinar corregimiento in San Miguelito District. Boulevard Villa Lucre lies next to Avenida Domingo Díaz, by the Metro station of the same name, and around it homes, shops and schools sit side by side.
In an area like this the ductwork tends to sit in small spaces, such as a shop with one or two units or an office above a store. The dropped ceiling is narrow and access depends on the owner of the property, who is often not the person occupying it. So the first step is knowing who authorizes the work and where the way in is. The area is about 5 km by road from the Climatiza office, in an approximate calculation.
Data point: In minisplit-type units in homes in Japan, high-pressure washing reduced the internal fungal load by more than 99%, and a year later it had returned to the previous level (Shiraishi et al., 2023 and 2026). It is a different kind of equipment and is cited as context.
| Building type | What is usually there | What is checked first |
|---|---|---|
| Shops on the boulevard | Businesses and services with one or two units | Odor in the service area and grilles in plain sight |
| Houses and residential developments | Homes with an individual unit or a duct network | The type of equipment, before talking about ducts |
| Medical offices and small offices | Rented spaces with a narrow dropped ceiling | What the owner allows and where the returns are |
| Schools | Classrooms and offices with units on a school schedule | Classroom grilles and a time slot outside lessons |

The usual signs are a stuffy smell at start-up, dust on the diffusers, comments from clients or patients and airflow differences between rooms. The camera confirms it. Every premises has its own rhythm, because the interval depends on how many hours the unit runs.
Usually the property owner or manager authorizes it, with the occupant informed. It helps to have that permission before the visit, because it decides whether access points can be opened in the dropped ceiling. The camera goes in first through the existing grilles.
They can, because any network that moves air collects dust, and Panama’s humidity can keep it stuck to the duct walls. The length of a run does not say how much is inside. So the camera looks at the interior, even when the shop has a single unit.
The camera inspection comes before any work (how it is done). Shops on the boulevard fit the page on retail and medical offices the one on clinics and pharmacies. All areas. The service is provided by Climatiza.
