Panamá Pacífico is in the Veracruz corregimiento, Arraiján district, on the land of the former Howard base. It presents itself as a planned community and business park, with homes, offices, logistics warehouses, shops and schools. It grows in stages, so buildings handed over at different times sit side by side.
In a newly handed-over building the question is not what use left behind, but what construction left behind. Building dust can remain in the ducts before the unit even starts, which is why the camera looks before the system is called clean. The park is about 18 km by road from the Climatiza office, in an approximate calculation. Since the equipment and the camera leave the city, the visit is coordinated in advance with the building’s management.
Data point: In newly installed ducts, mechanical brushing and compressed air removed between 75 and 94% of the dust deposited at the building site, but no method cleaned oily surfaces well enough (Holopainen et al., 2003). It is a study of new ducts, which is why in a warehouse what is inside is checked first.
