Pueblo Nuevo is a corregimiento in the urban area of Panama City, created in 1895 by municipal agreement. It borders Bella Vista, San Francisco, Parque Lefevre, Río Abajo and Betania, and includes sectors such as Vista Hermosa and Hato Pintado. Residential use predominates, with apartment buildings and service facilities, and it has three Metro stations.
That mix calls for looking at each property separately: a recent apartment building, a neighborhood shop with a single unit and a service facility with several networks are not inspected the same way. A building decades old can stand next to a new project, and each brings its own equipment. The area is less than 1 km by road from the Climatiza office, in an approximate calculation.
Data point: In minisplit-type units in homes in Japan, high-pressure washing reduced the internal fungal load by more than 99%, and a year later it had returned to the previous level (Shiraishi et al., 2023 and 2026). It is a different kind of equipment and is cited as context.
